The Lounge is too comical, we must be completely serious 100% of the time!

    Seriously guys.

No, just tired of all the bitching. There's good advice to be had here if you can a.) see through all the BSing that goes on, and b.) have thick enough skin to take a ribbing. I've laid it on the line, and I've got my fair share of **** said to me, but it's all in fun, and if you can't laugh at yourself, then you've got bigger issues. I don't think that's too much to ask. Hell, look at Avery's thread. We (me included) dished it out, probably to excess, but he took it like a champ, and it wouldn't bother me a bit if he said the same stuff to me.

If y'all think this thread is in poor taste and I'm in the wrong, then I'll STFU, but until then, ....I don't know, but that's what I think.

This post trivializes the need for utmost seriousness on this site. it makes fun of the humorless, the emo, and the stick - in - the butts who may be reading.

I am offended, and shall whine until you take me seriously.

    I seriously mean that, too.

    seriously.

Seriously, I very seldom post a serious post here in the Lounge. My life is way too serious to be serious here as well, and I mean that seriously. At the end of the day, this is a little playgorund I like to call the interweb. Seriously.

Only seriously serious issues in the lounge. Matter of fact the lounge should be changed to the serious lounge. But seriously.... only the toes knows...

Would that be the actual bitching or the perceived bitching that is really just dry humor? Oh, and my spell checker thinks that your user name should be replaced with "Greentree".

The serious bitching about the lack of seriousness. I'm all about some dry humor and I think the responses to this thread are hilarious.

    GO TEAM!

Gosh, I AM being serious, you know. It's a serious subject, and it needs to be taken seriously.

Perceived bitching, dry humor...whatever,... perception is reality.
I seriously think we should keep The Lounge, but add The Couch. A place where weary stressed out wrenchers can lay their head and grow through the assimilation of new experiences.
In therapy, the patient/client/wrencher would be encouraged to experience his or her own feelings and behaviours in the here and now, and attention could be brought to bear on the way contact is interrupted. The way in which he or she interrupts contact with the present environment would be considered a significant factor in creating and maintaining dysfunctional patterns of behavior. A Gestault type of form that could bring about the ability to tell someone to go take their cyin' ass out of the lounge and move their $#I+ to the couch.

NO TECH IN THE LOUNGE-AND NOW-NO SANDY MANGINAS IN THE LOUNGE....if the moderator could now move this emotionally charged outburst to the couch.....Thankyou:rolleyes:

No, no not the couch, put them into the "closet". In there they can lay their weary heads down on a nice soft lap and see what comes up.:eek1:
