Awesome heavy duty trucks

I need that red Suburban--it would definately cut down on the number of jerks cutting me off in traffic, causing road rage incidents!...

Half of them you wouldn't see anyways because of that 30 or so feet of blind spot from the front bumper forward. :doah:

If you were around many rodeos back in the day you saw a bunch of these converted to crew cabs, always loved em. Have always wanted one converted to a crew cab but with a custom flat bed. Buddy of mine supposedly can get a hold of a couple meritor front axles. :D:D:D

Yah right can't even get done what I am doing LOL

been kicking around the Idea myself, Cummins powered of course

Lol

just thinking of filling that fuel tank scares the crap outta me...:eek1::eek1::eek1:

Oh it's nothing, you get used to it after a while.
It's normal for me now to put $800 in my tank everytime I fill up my Big rig.
Sometimes up to $1000 if let it run almost dry.
:doah:

dayum!!

I don't feel so bad about 75 - 80$$$ for my DD now...:doah::haha:

thay made factory crew cabs but rare.

and why not just use 5ton mill axles for 4x4 and divorced t-case also.

X2.

I think I would just use a C60 graintruck converted to CC, as to have the ability to use it like a dumptruck if needed, or pull the sides off and have a flatbed.

this is my big a$$ rig. Some day the Jimmy will be on the back with a small car over the cab.

Maybe it is just me, but those trucks just look dumb. I like the one ktmout posted much better. :)

You're not alone. I have no use for a giant pickup truck that's too impractical to do anything with, expensive, gets ****ty gas mileage, HUGE, and probably 2wd anyway.

KTM's has a purpose and is FAR more practical.

If I built one it would be mainly for pulling trailers, but have a flatbed and the hoist still so I could make it into a dump truck if needed. Not just to have some giant pickup, but a usefull truck that will handle more weight safely than a 1 ton could.

One thing I think would be a plus, is that these trucks are littered all over the place and Ive seen decent ones going for 3 grand, so the initial cost isnt such a huge deal.

I will be using my Freightliner once I retire it from my business, at this point a similar truck is sold for $10k and mine has a few quirks so a couple of more years and I can retire it and feel I am getting a free truck to rebuild for personnal use.
I will build it as an RV and pull a trailer behind it.:thumb:

If I ever built one of those it would not be the last in a long line of impractical stupid vehicles.

I quit caring about practicality years ago, I wanna drive what I wanna drive.

Sadly I've still got to justify my vehicles. It's why I sold Big Ugly last year and sorta semi-delude myself about The Blazer.
