I'd be willing to help out, even though I don't know sh*t. I figure helping somebody do a swap will prepare me for getting help on my future swap. When and where?

I will be out of town on Saturday and much of Sunday but may be free after 5:30 on Sunday if you run into a snag, send me a PM if you have any questions, I have done a few axle swaps. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
What are you swapping in? 1-ton or 3/4 ton?

These are the axles I just picked up, should be a pretty straightforward swap form a stock 10 bolt w/blocks right?

PM me your address. I will be real busy getting the house packed up for our move but if I have a chance to be in the area, I will try to stop by. The swap should be relatively easy, I did mine in a parking lot.

I'd recomend measuring the axle tube width (I don't know it) and getting new u-bolts. Get them 2" longer thjan you think you'll need & then you can just cut them off. Most places charge about 10/ea for good made to order ones. Then, just cut/grind off the old ones. That's the main time consuming thing.

I actually decided to wait to put the axles in until I get some rear lift springs. I figured there is no sense in doing the work twice right? I did buy a new truck though, 73 3/4 4*4
