So this last trip on Memorial Weekend did a number on the limo. All kinds of little problems popped up. Brakes, Fan wiring is more than thought originally, Rear wheel seals, transmission leaks, speedometer cable seizing up, oil pressure Guage no worky no more, exhaust leaks again and I tried to fix the steering only to mess it up and realize my kingpins might not be getting grease.
So tonight I get home and get ready to go workout with a few friends at an archery range. Walk over to the suburban only to find a large amount of atf on the ground. Crawl under and realize that I'm missing two adapter bolts and a mount bolt. The other 4 adapter bolts were loose on the trans. Come to find out that the threaded holes are pulling threads out. Put new bolts in and tightened up the others the best I could. Went for my drive to go workout and it seems to be holding. I'll go get some helicoils to repair them right.
After replacing all of the brakes, I need to get my master cylinder swapped out because now I have a really soft pedal.
The steering is going to have to go to the alignment shop I think to fix it right.
