BB 2008 picture & video thread

Well I am even more impressed. I am a true fan of driving and love the idea of driving my Blazer to the trail, and driving it home after a fun day 4 wheelin. I guess the old saying of keep it simple really pays off.

With some extra stuff... :wink1:

Yeah, well... just a little bit extra :D

I typically stay out of the optional obstacles, I usually don't try trails like Pritchett or Behind the Rocks, and I've been to Area BFE only as spectator...:D. But I had a lot of fun in Moab the last 6 years - on a lot of the other trails... and the truck is still highway-capable and has carried me faithfully all over the Southwest.

At least with the mods you've done, we really can't call you "Lowrider" anymore :D
Glad to have slightly twisted your arm to join us on Pritchett.
It was more fun having you along, as always :waytogo:
I might not get a chance to post my pictures until I can sit down
with a cocktail in Fl. but will see. Been kickin it pretty hard so maybe
I'll get a break before I hit the road next Mon. :dunno: :pimp1:

And he had some Good Help/Spotters getting through Pritchett.

Yes, I did, and the help is gratefully acknowledged :D, and I needed all the help I could get to make it to the top with a somewhat intact truck :doah:. Just like the first time, 5 years ago. Only that the darn trail has become a lot harder in the meantime. I mean, back then, I was able to drive RockerKnocker (with a safety strap courtesy of therobzilla, and three spotters...). And I could at least get my truck's nose onto the RockPile...

Again, thanks to you, Jason, for changing out my axle and for the spare spindle. I've changed axleshafts on the trail before, but certainly not as fast...

Pritchett is normally not on my menu of Moab trails... and it won't be for a while...

It was a fun day, my friend.
It was fun 'wheeling with you all these years, and thanks for all you taught me. I'm looking forward to 'wheeling with you again. That deal with having your truck stashed away is disconcerting at first, but actually not so bad :D. Let me tell you, the biggest problem really is the transportation between the airport and the truck's location. BTDT. My truck is gonna stay out west. No way I'll bring it here to the swamp.

I am looking forward to Blazer Bash pictures from Florida . And should your journey bring you through Baton Rouge, you have my number...

Kewl pix :D. I like the one of your truck about to stuff the nose in the ground.
I haven't been there for a while, and don't remember it being that steep .
