Hopefully I will get some time to work on mine soon. All my work is done outside. It is currently 65 degrees at home, but 90s in Santa Fe where I am right now.
I got the second trailer ready last night, stopping to get batteries for the Duramax on the way home today.
0 w 20 stain is the best, well it is what I have used the last two times. A little 10w 30 stain also.
Is it slick when wet?
Not that I have ever noticed, just gets absorbed in like a stain.
Stopped at the salvage yard yesterday and pulled some spare front shafts for the suburban.

They're stamped 42". We compared the 42" iroks he's selling to my 40s and the iroks were just about a 1.5" taller. I'd say those 42" Treps are at least 4" taller than my 40s.
At least 35s I'm guessing
