Some how I alway find a reason to disagree. A 427 has a 1.765 c/h and a 454 has a 1.645 c/h the pistons would be out of the bore .120 and hit the head. You can't use them in a 454.

Look what happens when i get in a hurry. You are 100% correct. I made a mistake about the pistons being .120" down in the bore, they would actually be .120" above the deck surface. Guess i was thinking about 454 pistons being used with a 427 crank.
