    anyone know the chamber size for 353049 head I found on mortec they are 73-84 oval port and have small valves

    You'll find a lot of conflicting info on this but the majority of books agree on 119cc. They are nearly identical to a '781 casting which has roughly the same year span. Both are EXCELLENT heads for a "torquey" motor.

    I have the '049 castings on my motor (they've been cut open for the big valves) w/ a fair size roller cam and no porting - they work really good!
