I hate to admit how many hours I have into looking up the stock chip BCC for a 1990 5.7L Blazer with an automatic. Anyone know which ECM and BCC numbers?

I had a similar BBC search for a 1994 GMC. I ended up going to my local Chevrolet dealer parts counter, and getting the BCC. The BCC was not really listed as a BCC, but buried in the PROM parts description was the four letter BBC. I provided a VIN number to the parts person to get the PROM part number.

Most likely the 90 Blazer uses ECM 1227747, and the BCC is going to enable the 700R4 Torque Converter Clutch (TCC). If I had to build a BCC from scratch for a 90 Blazer with a 5.7 / 700R4, I'd start with BCC $42 AMUR.

Send me a PM if you would like the $42 AMUR .bin file.

Ha! I just went and looked in my other 1990 Chevy Suburban 5.7L Auto. It was an ASDU but a 16139461 ECM which is the same as 1227747.

My 90 Blazer ended up with a 1227747 with Hypertech open loop chip...
