Im thinking on bed lining my whole 82 fleetside singlecab. its got factory paint and its blue with tan doors. I looked around for price and found its only 89.99 for a gallon they say well do a 8 foot bed. Im thinking 3 to 4 gallons of herculiner would dot he trick.

I live in arizone and i believe this would make the truck really, really freakin hot but i could be bad, anybody got pics by any chance?

Weight that stuff is heavy , also it WILL fade and get chalky especially in this soutwestern sun

also for 400 bucks you could get the truck Maco'd or Earl Scheib'd

I just had a 66 F-250 two toned down in El-Paso for $650 about a month ago wait until they have a special

I was gonna bedline the yellow truck in my Avatar but the cost and weight and inabilty to "re-finsh" were the reasons I didn't (although that was 3 years ago and it's still not Painted)

where in el paso???i gotta get my truck painted, right now its all primered!!!!LOL. do u live near el paso, yellowk20???

I live about 80 miles away (north) I'm not sure exactly were it's at I had one of Co-workers take it there for me . i think he said it was on mesa .

DO NOT use the duplicolor bedliner stuff! #1 you will get higher than the sky applying it! (i have experience on that!) #2 within a week it will start chipping away.

Personally if your going to bedline something and want it to last, LINE-X or Rhino line it.

I agree the herculiner isn't as good as the real bedliners (which is why it so much cheaper) and even with the "real' bedliners fading and chalking will still be a problem My boss just sold his Permetech bedliner Franchise if you have any more ?'s ask me and I can relay them to him he's the one who really talked me out of bedlining the Whole exterior of my truck
