i like the cut top look. my 73' top is cracked in the corners like all the rest. are you going to enclose the back of it at all?. i dont want to loose the full top though. theres a guy down my alley that has a 75', hes original owner. its beat to hell and back but the top is clean. i would buy it for the top. wouldnt want to cut mine yet unless i had a top to replace it.

he he, thats free Search and Rescue orange i got from work a few years back. had a bunch of cans over shelf life and instead of having the govt. pay disposal fees i used them and brought the empty cans back. i painted over everything, rust, dirt, rusty dirt and grime. no prep work whatsoever...

but it does look alright, even in person.

i dont plan on covering the back. i wanted to graft in the back of the origonal top and put some plexiglas in it, but i didnt have the time or the space. i was going to give the top away, but the city told me i had to clean up the side of the house a bit so the top went into the trash can.

its mostly for sun protection, but if it has to go when the cage is made so be it. some day i may end up making a full half top... if that makes sense...
