A well ventilated area, preferably outdoors, lots of PPE, and an aggressive flap disk on an angle grinder. It's easy to see when you hit metal because sparks start flying.
Small propane torch and a scraper. Just a little heat is all it takes. Faster, no dust.
Would using the edge of a cutoff disk on an angle grinder work?
That’s a good way to break one of those and end up eating it
Did the factory use any bondo on the panels?
I think a wire wheel on a grinder works better than the flap disk. Less cloggage. The heat one I'll have to try.

This went sideways in a hurry.
There is alot of bondo on the rear quarter. Some of it is from an old repair. I wonder if some is factory.
There is no bondo from the factory.
Not sure about squares but the factory body seems in a 69 GTO are all lead.
That's the cleanest and fastest way to remove bondo.
I don't understand why anyone would want to try anything else.
