Have you seen how much those weigh now? 4200 lbs! :doah:
The driveshafts are rzeppa jointed at the t-case now too. Weird.

A couple of years ago we ran a buddy's mid 90's YJ over the scales. Pretty stock, a little trail gear but no rear seat, hardtop on it came in at 3900 after subtracting our weight...

He had been telling me all about his "3000 lb Jeep" before that.

saw one today and almost puked a lil... atleast they have a more respectable wheelbase now

It's a toss up. Take the plastic crap off, add a small lift, some tires and a set of gears/lockers and it wouldn't be bad. Although we bash the crap out of Jeeps the new Rubicon editions are supposedly some of the best equiped stock vehicles ever built.

It's more practical than a Wrangler...might even look better, too.

And I'm still not interested

the cherokee's are significantly lighter than the wranglers. i dont like that thing.

the one jeep i do like is the 2 door cherokee, cuz it is basically a smaller K5. one of those with built axles and lockers would be nasty.

a buddy used to have a zj on locked 44/60 fullwidth's and 36's. it looked sweet.

yeah the 2 door cherokees do look good. If I were to build a jeep it would definately be a cherokee mainly for the space for drinking buddies. lol. Also I'd get a grand just for the v8. but that four door wrangler thing is just plain ugly.

Can-back too. I be way sick in my H3 tho.
I know you meant sick as in cool but actually getting sick isn't out of the question. I only know a few people that have H3's and the one thing that I have noticed is that it is really built for smaller guys but mainly women. Everyone that I know that has one and is taller than 6' or so says they feel like they are driving out of a mail slot.

Yeah, I saw that. that will take some getting used too.

I think we'll stick with the wifes H3.

just curious but what is the towing ability of the h3?

maybe a buggy on a trailer???????

I saw one last month when i was heading up to Milwaukee. I had to do a double take on it. It looked weird, not used to it all.
