Blazer Bash 2020 trails See First post.

I intend to show up to the Blazer Bash some day. I will only go on the easy Bunny Trails, and not the Black Diamond trails (ski lingo). If there was an easy scenic purposes only trail ride at the Blazer bash on a #2 or #3 rated trail for the wife and kids I would go on that.

Hells Revenge is very scenic and has bypasses on the hard stuff.

I’m thinking my driving abilities will be my limiting factor, having only been to Moab once and no other real rock parks. I’m more into moderate wheeling and sightseeing, and experiencing time with the BB gang again. Hopefully I can pull off some better climbs than the RAV4!
Seems like there were some moderate trails in BFE?
Hells revenge?
Not sure where this was, (Gold bar rim)? but I’d like to go back! @blazinzuk?

Yes it was the rim

This will actually work very well in Moab. Is the truck lifted for the 35s? If not you will likely get some tires rubbin
Not yet but the plan is a 52" spring swap up front with crossover if I save enough pennies. Shackle flip in the rear.

That will put you right in the middle equipment wise of guys that usually go. You should be just fine

BFE has been closed for a long time, the future of it doesn't sound good
I didn't know that. I knew the guy I used to deal with wasn't an owner anymore, and I wondered if that meant things weren't looking up for BFE.

You know if Strike Ravine is still open then?

They were working on rerouting the end of it so it didn't go onto the BFE property. The end of the trail was closed last year.

This was put on their web site in May of 2018.

On June 5, 2018, AreaBFE will be closing its doors to the general public to allow construction to start on the property for its build-out.

This means that AreaBFE is closed until further notice.

Special Events will be accommodated in AreaBFE during our build-out phase to bring in power and water to the property. This will allow Area BFE to add some much needed facilities such as a bathroom house with showers.

Once reopened, the park will be membership-based, with daily access fees also available. Please watch our website and social media for membership updates.

I have emailed them twice about a the special event usage they claim. Never heard back.

Let’s try a different way:

Anyone not wanting to do Hell’s on Friday, list a trail you’d like to run

Well discuss Saturday next after we hammer out Friday. But get an idea if you’re not doing Pritchett or Spike what you want, and a Sunday trail

Cliffhanger.

Is that where the Christmas card came from?
