Blazer Bash 2024 General discussion thread.

Love the trail. Hate the ledge after the creek. Can't get my bumper up the ledge, on the left, and can't get my tcase over the ledge, on the right. Ran that trail twice and have been pulled 6" over the ledge! %#_÷_&*^!!!View attachment 482485
Pat, you have seen my truck wheel a lot. Do you think I would be alright?

Considering the rigs I’ve seen run this trail that is mighty impressive on 33s!

It’s one I want to do, just not in my truck. Got a spare seat?
I should have a rear seat open. May not be the most comfortable ride. :D But we'll probably only be there for a trail on Friday and I'd like to do Kane Creek because I haven't done that one in the crew cab. I think it's been nearly 14 years since I last ran Kane Creek in the K5. Nicole didn't really like that trail so we only did it the once for Blazer Bash.

That perspective shows how much room there is between the trail and the edge.
As @mrk5 said, it isn't the same feeling as Moab rim.
I have wanted to run Cliffhanger as well but always seen pictures and figured it would be nerve wracking... However, if you guys think it's not as bad as Moab Rim I would like to do it. I did MR in 2019 with fullsize invasion.

No where near like Moab Rim. Unless you are someone that is extremely height adverse, I wouldn't worry about it. If you can run Hell's Revenge, you can do Cliffhanger.

I remember one year someone came from back east of the Mississippi, and they did NOT like anything about wheeling in Moab. I don't think there's a trail they could have done that didn't freak them out. I remember they almost flopped their rig on Porcupine Rim trying to stay away from the edge.

Ok that makes me feel good then. I'm not afraid of heights and have ran both MR and Hells Revenge.

Cliffhanger I guess gets my vote. That Kokopelli sounds like a fun easy trail as well. Would be open to doing Kane Creek again too.
