Blazer Bash September 4-7 2025

So my thoughts
One trail per day that is going to be an "official" Blazer Bash trail.

If more then enough people show up and we need to run more trails, then that is fine anyone can run trials with out being part of the event.
If The Circus wants to be a trail "sponsor" or what ever then they can say we are running this trail any one want to come ?
Or if any other group says hey we want to run this trail then ok ......

My thought is basically along these lines. No idea if we are going to have a bunch of people show up, or what we have been running these last few years. If we only have "X" trails as the official BB trails then we only need approval for those trails and only for those people that run those trails.

I don't know but that is what I have been thinking.

Feedback ????? Thoughts ? other ideas?

Can the Thursday trail be I-70? Maybe add 128 past Dewey Bridge for the really hardcore guys?

What are good spare parts to bring to the bash? I haven't gone on a long wheeling trip in forever.

D30 Cucv with tons, 4.56 gears, 6.0, 4l80 np241. Cross over steering hydro assist rear shackle flip. I plan on getting 35 spline outers for my 60 to bring as spares on the trip, I have the hubs.
What size tires and how hard of trails you looking to run? If everything is in good functioning order and newer I don’t see much of anything you need.

I bring spare u joints and plenty of fluids. Oil filter and fuel pump but if I’m having to drop the tank that’s going to be a long day probably. I do like to keep some gas but I always fill up before every trail. I don’t go on really hard trails although I have pushed my luck the past 2 years for one day.

Like Keith mentioned if you can get off the trail you can fix about anything. The auto parts stores in town do have a good selection of parts.

Oh and don’t forget tons of water and extra food that is most important.

It gets hot, last year I did hells revenge and got 8 gallons of water and 8 bags of ice. It kept my fuel pump happy cause I was dumping water on the sending unit. Everyone thought I was peeing on it. :rotfl:

Like @doubletrouble mentioned, we were looking at making another run at Rusty Nail. It's basically the last trail in the Moab area I haven't done (not counting the big dog trails like Coyote and Helldorado). I'm also plugging for Kane Creek because I haven't done that one in the crew cab. We'll have @doubletrouble in Sketch, Nate in @Raggedy_Ann, @B_to_C in the Sledgehammer, and myself; anyone else would be welcome to come along.

We will be there for all 3 days, but we haven't discussed the third trail. Cliffhanger could be fun.

rusty nail is an 8 out of 10 on Onx off road, and only shows it to be 2 miles long. What is the trail like before and after, esp the obstacles like Riff Raff and The wall ?

I have 37's on 17 inch wheels. I don't want to smash my truck up, I have not wheeled hard since the Rubicon in 2010 and I took it easy then.
