blazer front springs vs pickup front springs

    blazer front springs vs pickup front springs are they the same or are the truck ones longer?

    actually what i should have asked is will 77 blazer front springs replace the front springs in a 79 pickup?

    front's are the same length.

    Same thing. Just the differences in some springs are 2 and 3 leaf designs.

    FYI Prior to 73 the front springs on Blazers and trucks
    are not the same leght as 73 to 91.

    My 79 blazer front springs were crap, negative arch WTF? I much prefer my 5 leaf spring pack.

    blown shocks will make the springs sag too, yea nuthin is better then 5 leaves up front /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif, btw what was the deal with GM useing a 9\16ths bolt on the rear spring shackle on the front leaf springs on the 91's i saw this and i feel inferior, because my 87 has 7\16ths bolts on that shackle.

    negative arch is normal and stupid. Try having a negative arch, bad shocks all around and a 6 leaf HD rear pack giving you an 1 1/2" rake on a k5. Sometimes I think it looks good most of the time I don't. My rear pack is so heavy that it barely squats with a couple thousand pounds on a trail behind it(doesn't even level the rake) but if I hit the gas the rear gets air off speed bumps.
