blazer into truck(trazer?)

i just got done, well not done but i have the main part of the job done so far. i swaped an 82 blazer into a 77 truck.if any one has done this i would love to see some pics of the truck and of the fab work. i will start posting up pics of mine soon
 
Use the search button, you will find more than one build. One that comes to mind is "Black Betty"...

nice truck what did you do as far as suspension goes. im in the process of getting ready todo mine and looking for new ideas
 
Thanks.In that pic it had Pro Comp 4" springs with Rancho 9012s up front and Ford 57" springs with a DIY4X shackle flip and Pro Comp ES3000s in the rear.

To run the long springs without having to redrill the mounting holes,the shackle flip brackets are swapped side to side (right side bracket on the left and the left on the right) to off set the shackle mounting position to the rear a bit :D

It flexed nice and used to do pretty good on the RTI ramp :haha: (Springer shackle flip on the rear in this pic)

i have a 4 runner with all the mods duel cases locked frnt and rear,63" rear springs and so onhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tkDAoFEjYMg. on my long nose chevy i have a 8'' super lift,i pulled a couple leafs out to help soften it up a bit. i just doesnt flex . what do i have todo to load pics. how many posts do i have to get,or do i just need to pay
 
You already have a built Toy,why you bothering messing with a full size :p: ?I would say you need different springs.

There is a certain number of posts required before you can post pics I think.

I got rid of that cab and bed for something a little more family friendly :D

i had the blazer and loved it.its just to much in fuel so i went yota, which i love too and better mpg. my chevy is a pavement pounder right now so i will use it to haul trash and firewood with a micro bed lol

those are some sweet rides. gotta say tho i have a 06 mazda b4000 and my 6.2 is way better on fuel, maybe its the manual hubs. i really think they make a dif
 
nice what tires and rim is that on the pic you posted, the one with the roll bar and hi lift installed on frt

let me know andy of any pics in particular that you would like to see. i know i couldn't find hardly any fab pics when i started my build.
