What does an 80's blazer tub weigh?
A lot. prolly 400lbs at least. I recently got one of them without the cap and me and another guy couldn't lift it into the truck (I can easily dead lift 250lbs), We would up using my monument truck with a 1/2 ton crane. The tub was cut off right behind the front seat mounts and included the door pillars. It also had the rear seat still installed but as I said no cap or tailgate.
I'd agree, maybe like 450. i recently cut my entire tub up and removed it all piece by piece. Trying to think of the pieces. firewall, door pillar, windshield frame, floor probably weighed 250. Roof is like 75. Each rear fender about 30 or 40 lbs. rear floor about the same. rear crossmember probably liek 20.
Thanks, thats what I needed to know.
just use a engin puller /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif
