So I just bought it. figured I would start a build thread on it.

Ladder rack is coming off and likely becoming scrap.
Alternator is charging but a bit low.
A/C compressor clutch is shot. Think I have at least one new compressor as well as at least two new alternators so if it doesn't charge better it is out.

I have three other distributors and a box full of spark plug wires. To fix the miss, or at least eliminate a bunch of possibilities.
Not sure if the trim is staying or going.
Oh and the final plan for the build is to get it running better, cleaned up a bit then sell. So if you know anybody who may be interested...........
how about just driving it from the neighbors house over to yours first.

Have an issue though. Drivers side rear running light. Passenger side running light, brake like as well is on drivers side, Both reverse light work.
did some brief checking nothing stood out.

So figured out what my issue is. My headlight switch is bad. Went out to mess with it and it all worked. Put in some new lights and then the cover went to turn it back on, no worky. So ordered a new switch from Rock Auto, has a gift certificate won at BB cost me $.83. Should be here this week or so. Should be done next week. Going to register it Thursday. Then start the selling process.
Some more pics. Cleaned the engine compartment looks a lot better. Not sure if I want to paint anything yet.

Got the new headlight switch today. Not in yet had some other things to do. Did get it registered today though. So now I can drive it.
So replaced the headlight switch. Still no worky
Got looking at it no clue why it doesn't work. Put in a new bulb socket still no work. Pulled the socket off and let it set for a few days.
Left the key on or something killed the battery.
Went out to look and see how the battery charging was doing.
Got it running decided to turn on the lights. They work.

The only difference is the truck was running, which makes no sense but hey it works now. Brake like and turn and running light drivers side.

So listed this thing on E-bay. Got no bids at all. Guess it is not as rare as it would seem. So next plan is who knows yet . Pull the engine and trans put them in the Nova ?

Just learning, that’s all.
Kid didn't want it after Blazer Bash this year so I got him a 74 K5. This C10 has just become a toy. We've been working on it. New Mishimoto Radiator, replaced leaking valve covers, front brakes, replaced the carrier bearing and u joints, body work.
Drop kit and nitrous goes no next.
