Blazer's Tow rigs

So drove it down the road on the way to the shop to put a new trans in. Got it to go 20 mph for about two miles then it stopped going forward, ugh. Called a tow truck as it sat running, tow truck got there and then it decided to move. So drove it on the tow truck and then towed it to the shop. Drove off the truck and got it into a parking spot.

Hopefully be done in a week or so.

That will be nice to have it running!

Yes it will daughter will like it too, she should have her drivers license about the same time so she can driver the Volvo.

So truck is getting a oil leaked fixed the oil cooler is leaking. As well as all 8 glow plugs fixed. Since owning it, it has always had to be plugged in once it got below about 50 so that would explain why.

Bit of an update, seems like it wasn't a trans issue.

Will not shift out of second gear with the new trans. Shop is not sure why only think ti cold be is the speed sensor on the T-case. So may have wasted a couple of grand and about a year of sitting.

Still not sure yet though. Not sure if the speed sensor tells the trans when to shift, but who knows at this point.

So can you say wasted $4000.00, I can it is even spelled out

"needs a new transfer case"

Guess it goes into gear then slips into low then goes out.

Kind of pissed right now, a bit

So have to find one its a 4407 in case anybody had one laying around

So found a t-case $373.10 later have a t-case. Dropped it off on Wednesday haven't heard anything yet going to call on Monday.

Clean up in Post # 117 please,

Called it!!!

What do I win?

Really sorry that you've spent money on this honestly, sorry man

yup Brandon you did, however it does have the 4407 so only got it half right. I even checked it out after you said that and it seemed to shift as far as I could tell through the t-case gears fine.

He called today said it needed a new rear end.................................................. then he said HA, I was in a bit of shock took me a min to get it as a joke.
