I'm slow on the uptake on this one, it's all good like it really should be. OR It's functioning but something is still not right?
Keith, you know I like to push buttons and poke fun but I really do feel bad that you went through the this process only to find what is a somewhat easy simple fix was all that we needed all along.
Yeah its functioning fine, just like the old one, which is the pissed off part of the whole thing.

Glad to hear it's right and does have a new transmission.
So a bit of an update............................
250 miles later trans decided not to shift......................
So it has been at the Ford dealer for a week, just today told me that they were going to warranty it. After being a pretty good thorn in their side, and hearing four different stories of why it failed.
Kind of amazing when you come in in street clothes and they tell you one thing thing, then you show up in your Firestone manager clothes and they tell you another. Then they tell the shop that put it in a whole different story.
Cant wait to hand them the car rental bill and see what they say.

I really want to join in on the ford jokes... But I won't. Sorry to hear all the troubles! Warranty work is great but lack of truck still stinks
Just a thought though... Is the non shifting problem really a safety precaution to avoid dangerous speeds above 30mph???

If you have a rental.. Well rentals are the fastest cars in the world.. Might wanna check that just to be sure, also might verify the suspension gets fully cycled many times before its returned..
