Blazer's Tow rigs

:angry1: Oh man I'd come unglued! Dodge stealership didn't put my air cleaner back together once and dumped oil all down the frame rail of my 11 cummins when it was a couple months old.

Unless you're just dead set on having the diesel I'd do it. Only down side is losing the bed space. However I moved a stand up deep freeze and refrigerator in my suburban when I had no trucks handy.

So been driving it for the last little bit, have a GPS that I am running in it since the speedo is a bit off. Mainly running it for freeway stuff and to check the mileage. So based on the GPS I am getting 16.88 MPG not bad at all speedo wise I am getting 14.5 which is still not bad.

The A/C for some reason was not working, hadn't used it in two years. So recharged it with dye and it works fine. Guessing it has a small leak will have to run it for awhile and see where it may be leaking from.

Need to get some steps built and some grab handles. Other then that not to much new going on with it.

Grab handles are good. Been pondering those myself

Dealer said he would trade me straight across for this one

I sold mine and bought a 14 f150 crew with 21k miles and love it. it gets around 16 in town and haven't had it on the hwy yet nor have i pulled with it but my old girl friend (still feels weird saying that) had a 13 with the same engine and it pulled great. These newer trucks are pretty impressive for sure.

So major update with pics on the first page. Sold the Ford bought a Suburban. It is a 99 2500 w/ 454. Runs good no issues so far drove it back from Idaho Falls 2.5 hours did 85 basically the whole way.

It is a Z71, CHOO CHOO custom, which means it has a fiberglass hood with some non functioning hood scoops, heated power seats, heated and cooled cup holders. Also has a wing on the back, as well as a center console that had a VCR and stuff in it a little TV too. Front seats have some tears not to terrible. Have some connections to get them re-done.

Needs a new windshield as well as figuring out why the air is not working it was a week ago so we will see.
Going to change the oil as well as trans fluid and do some other maintenance tomorrow.

Air is fixed, high pressure switch was bad.

Appointment for windshield is Monday. Then I have to go to Weber County for the emissions, system flagged it for some reason. Then Registration and plates.
