sometimes I am just in the mood to hear them... anyone else?

Extra terestrial live! Fire of an unknown origin. Bucks guitar solo!!
Always rocked for me!!
I have quite a few (actual) CDs of their. I have a soft spot for 'Veteran of the Psychic Wars'.
Saw them in concert in Honolulu years ago........................................
I saw them in NYC in the 60's as Soft White Underbelly and BOC and was actually on some bills with them. An under rated band as was Mountain, West, Bruce and Laing.
BOC is my favorite band. I grew up rockin to them. Have seen them more times than I cam count. One of the best shows I went to was their Black and Blue tour. BOC and Black Sabbath on the same stage. It was awesome. More OZZY and Buck Dharma than the law allows.
The last time I saw BOC was a couple of years ago at one of the casinos here in town. Their getting older but they still rock. And live up to the bands motto "Always on tour"
I need more cowbell!
Boc played alot in Cotati ,Ca. alot as "Soft White Under Belly".
I thought Sweet did that...wait let me rephrase : I KNOW Sweet did that, but did BOC do also? or did they title an album that?
/me shrugs, I downloaded it as Blue Oyster Cult. I thought it sounded a slight bit unlike them so I searched and it came up as them. But the internet is full of false information...
Does anyone know how they got the name BOC. Yes they were initally called Soft White Underbelly.
Blue Oyster Cult's Orginal name was Soft White Underbelly. That was back in the late 60s. I guess they still use the name once in a while when playing where they dont want to use their name.
After SWU they called themselvs the Stalk-Forrest Group. After they signed with columbia they decided the name was kind of bland. And somehow someone cane up with Blue Oyster Cult. The artist who did their first album designed their popular "Kronos" symbol for its cover and it was adopted by the band.
sa them last weekend here at copper mtn ski resort. for a free concert. they were pretty good to. go go godzilla
Richard Beltzer then comedian now of Law And Order and I believe Dan Acroyd came up with the BOC name
I have a fever! and the only prescription is...MORE COWBELL!!!!
"Soft White Underbelly " played alot in northern Cali......Never anounced .....,but the word around was....; "Boc '' Who really knows ???
