I decided it would be too big of a pain to take the body lift off my '73 k20, but I still hate the bumper gap. Does anyone know if body lift brackets are available?
To my knowledge no one makes brackets for our years. No one did when I bought my 3" BL. I got sick of the gaps myself and just made my own brackets. I torched off the frame horns and cut a piece of flat bar 8" tall and the width of the frame rail. I then welded the horns to the top of the flatbar and welded the horn/FB to the rail. With the FB being 8" tall and the frame rail being 5" tall it raised the horns 3". It took me a total of eight hours to do both the front and back.
