Bondo again, or leave as is..?

I bought this 76 jimmy, and it has rust, but I didn't know it was as bad till I found a crack in the bondo on the rr quarter behind the door. Started knocking off chunks and it got worse.whats y'all opinion? Should I bondo it back, or just leave it... This is my mud truck so not picky on looks.
I have found that the whole truck has a thin layer of bondo.

That doesn`t look like a thin layer to me!

I think I would grid it off and try to pound out some that mess. But it looks like the metal could be thin/rusty.

Cut it out replace with a junk yard panel. Depends what you want.

max mud thickness should be a 1/4".. you can get away with a bit deeper if ya go with a dynaglasss...
