Has anyone ever swapped out the brake vacuum booster and master cylinder for a new smaller unit that does eat up so much space in the engine compartment?

Since I installed the SureFit A/C conversion, it really looks odd having that huge setup on the driver's side a almost nothing on the passenger side.

Besides the whole thing is still original as far as I know and will most like need replacing soon anyway.

Also, if I go with larger tires, wouldn't it better to have more braking power?

Going to a 3/4 ton booster is a good/cheap upgrade that really works.

I believe I saw some discussion on that in on one of the forums.

I'll track it down and get the details.

Maybe I can balance out the appearance under the hood with the fire supression system from another discussion.

Thanks
