Bought a C65 gauge cluster

Sweet score!I've never seen this setup before, I will definitely be on the lookout for one now! Looking forward to seeing more pics!!!! :waytogo:

Yeah I'm going to try to be very in depth when I do this swap so others won't have to deal with the old printed circuit nightmares. I'll try to keep everything organized and in a timely manor

If anyone is interested. I would trade my tach for a diesel tach. I have the same cluster and was gonna use a 454 but now using a 6.5 turbo.

The diesel tach only go to 3500 rpm

The junk yard a half hour West of here use to have some Medium Duty trucks with diesels and tachs, I don't know if they have been scrapped or not, but I could go look.

That would be awesome if ya could. No hurry. I need to go check the one by my old house. At one time they had about 40 old c 60s. Then scrap got high. They still have several just haven't had time 5o go look

Haha dang man, just go ahead and shoot yourself in the foot while you're at it lol

What would such gauges cost?

Not sure. I'm heading over there to see if they still have any.

I painted the gauge housing white, you can kinda see in the picture how much brighter it makes the inside compared to the outside.

I've tried the chrome, silver, and high reflective silver tape and honestly the gloss white seems to yield the best results in my opinion

I cleaned up the amp gauge just to see if my method wouldn't hurt the gauge face. I am NOT NOT NOT using an amp gauge. Not real big on burning my truck to the ground

Looks good! How did you do that? The lettering is pretty fragile from my experience.
