I just bought a 91 Jimmy all bone stock and it pulls to the right when braking. Under hard braking it feels like it bounced some in front but felt like that was on the driver side..........any clues on what to check?....hoses?....calipers?...what side?

I had the same problem turned out to be a bad caliper.

could be left front caliper slide pins seized or just not working at all, but if left front is bouncing then of course all the braking action on that side isnt being applied to the road, so it might pull right

1991 only has ABS in the rear.

Crawl under and look at the back side of each TIRE. Do you see streaks? If so, you have brake fluid which is leaking from the caliper or drum, hitting the tire, and then running down. Repair as needed.

Generally I have found if one corner is shot, you will want to to all 4 wheels and flush the fluid.

If your brake pads (rear) have brake fluid on them, it can cause pulling and locking up, although the ABS may be countering it.

yup....pass side rear is wet on the backing plate.

Okay, started on the rear brakes since I saw the backing plate was wet on pass rear. It was not brake fluid it was the axle seal leaking. I replaced the rear axle seals and replaced rear wheel cylinders (rusted bolts gave me hell) and new shoes.....still pulls to the right but stops on a dime. Gonna do front calipers/pads tomorow...hope that fixes it.

side note...DOT 4 brake fluid is expensive
