So as some may know I believe I had a fuel pump issue which was resolved with a new pump . I bought an areomotive pump that creates 90 psi obviously way to much for the stock tbi setup but good for my bro flow .

my question is can I run this better more reliable pump on my stock setup or will it hurt the regulator at the throttle body?

Hmm. Never tried one like that. Tried running an ep381, but I also was messing with the pressure regulator

“In theory” it should work

if it doesn’t, I’m guessing it would likely overfuel the pintle and load up at idle

I’ll give it a shot I guess on that note I’ll find out fairly quick lol

I would think that the OE regulator has an upper input pressure limit myself. Most do.

You might want to put a reducing regulator before the TB and drop it to OE pump spec pressure.
