Hi All,
Can anyone offer some advice on how to replace the metal around the striker plate hole whilst still making sure that the doors close correctly.
The guy I bought my Blazer from seems to have welded a bolt where the origonal striker is supposed to be and not only does it not work well but it looks like crap...
I assume I need a torch to cut out the crappy weld and then weld a new piece of metal in it's place, does that sound about right? I though maybee cut the piece from an junkyard truch and then weld it in where mine should be?
