I am getting ready to replace the seats in my Blazer. I originally planned on going with Corbeau seats in the front and leave the stock rear seat. Then I saw some seats on the board that I am considering. I have another idea that I think I like the best. Bucket seats all around. Has anyone put bucket seats in place of the second row bench? I have some brackets that will work, but I am worried about overall height. My measurements tell me they will be almost to the roll bar. I would like to see some PICs before I do it. Anyone have any? If you do, can you tell me the height of your brackets and the height of your seats? Thanks.

I think they (the passenger) would sit to high.

I had a stock bench seat that was mounted on top of the 1.75" roll cage tubing (that lies on the floor) an adult wasn't able sit in the rear without hitting the top bars of the cage with their head.

What year/style seat are you hoping to use?

I bet a set of the Beard Street-L's (low back) would work nice...

I am hoping to use some Corbeau racking seats. Probably the LG1. I want all four seats to match and I want to use a four point harness on each seat. I don't care for the Beard seats because they do not recline.

Aren't the LG1's gonna be too tall in back?

oh well... for me I'd rather have the opposite.. I could care less about recline, as a matter of fact I prefer the solid to a hinged seat.. hinged seats WILL fail at some point... I'd rather hinge the mounting for forward tilt..

And Beards quality is topnotch.... Still a tossup between them and PRP for me.. Guess that'll be dependant on funds at the time..
