since I always like to take pics, and doing alot of build threads or pic whoring is a way to get me motivated. I was in full swing on this 3 months ago..then I build the 86 and got a little distracted..

specs..

marv springers old fun buggy chassis, changes in wheel base, suspension, storage added and rear bench, things moved around to my liking and some bling in the mix.

drivetrain: fi454, beefy fresh t-350 and ord doubler dually dana 60 front, dually 70 rear "need to locate one" big ol round tires, anf h1 bead locks, 3 link rear with swayaway 2.5 resivior coil overs, yj leafs up front.

looking for insight and motivation as I go. pics on the way

Where's the pics? You can't post something like this without having the pics ready to go.

El Centro is 45 mins from Yuma, AZ, 1.5 hrs from Sandy Eggo right on the 8 fwy. Bring yer truck and we'll wheel. :D

I'll have to check those dimensions...it's bolted under my K30.

Got a good 350? Or 400...or 454?

I have one big block left, but I am saving it for a future hot rod project, I am sure I could find you a 350 or 400 easy

do you want a drop in, a builder, standard bore, rebuilt????? are you wanting to build a 383?

road trip:)

Cheap/trade drop in so I can sell the K30 as a running 3/4 ton. Would have to be complete if it was anything but a 454 though. Truck was originally a Small block 400. Thinking yank the 454 to fix/sell later, yank the 70 and the 60, pull off the dually fenders, and put 3/4 stuff under it and sell it.

time is money..how long do you want to screw with this thing?? sounds like you already got it for what you wanted, seems putting more money and time in it would be going backwards

Was gonna build it but got the Blazer for a deal and it's a better project - better shape, TBI, A/C. #5 cyl in the K30 454 is pooh. Need to sell the K30 for $ to get the blazer 1 tons regeared/locked. Can't sell it for much with a pooh 454, and I wanna keep the 60.

well its a while later, and no pics

I got itch and cleaned off the project, yanked the drive train and wiring brakes and everything off, then decided to move all the spring perches for the front backwards so my 600 bucks worth of highsteer and cross over will actually be of some use now..

hell the thing even rolled and steered..

yay

I

AM

SO

excited

I

just

cant

hide

it.

ok,now I am in a battle to finish this by the weekend of march 23rd for the brono stamped, I went last year and had a blast..have to register so this makes a good due date for the buggy..

left to do list is includes only..

EVERYTHING:crazy:

I decided to go the the h1 bead locks, well for 100 bucks I decided why not, ill add rock rings, and some sort of pvc, nylon or something for the run flat.

current thoughts, run my current standard 14 bolt.. or find a c30 van one, to be honest I am thinking this thing would rock at high speed or in the sand the a narrower rear.. but I need to choose soon. being that my 14 bolt is missing its guts..I may just find a van rear.

rear.. startin to lean to the over lill on the hiems, evo maybe or summit

other big thoughts are if I should just weld up the panels between the tube, seems more solid, I also have the idea kicking the seal this thing like a freaking boat..the last trip in the other rig I got my feet in ice water.. yuck
