Building Blazer still

What? That sucks! I mean its great for work but sucks you can't make it Blazer Bash! Maybe next year? I was looki g forward to meeting you.
Thank you for the complements!

Awesomeness Mike....what a cool mini thumper K555.....

and we'll work on John/Kelly to be a 14'er!

I'm not going to get the Jana 76 installed in my front Dana 60 before Blazer Bash.:doah: Just not enough time now!
I am just going to install another set of 5.38's and wheel it. This winter I will install the Jana 76, Jana Load Bolts and the Jana 60 Girdle. I am also going to install the TMR 14 bolt shave kit in the rear.
Going to take my time and do the installs correct, pull axels and get them done.:waytogo:
I really wanted to get the Jana 76 done to show it off but I guess it wasn't meant to be.:dunno:

all this time I thought it was some kind of typo....but no, there is method behind that madness...

Lol, you just said Mike is Polish! He don't know what he's talking about!:haha: I am polish!! Lol
Stephen from ORD hooked me up with Carl Jantz of Jantz 4x4 because it is exactly what THUMPER needs. I had no idea you can do this! The Jana 76 with Jana Load Bolts & Jana Girdle will increase the strength of the Dana 60 by 44%! That is huge strength! Stronger than the 14 bolt and I get to keep my Bad Boy 300m RCV CV axels, Chrome Moly Knuckles & 300m RCV Drive Flanges, perfect match for THUMPER.:waytogo:

You go to love Mud!

I freaking hate mud. Fun for about 5 seconds, and then 5 hours (at the least) of cleanup cursing mud. The fun-to-cursing ratio doesn't add up in my head

Here is a pic with the Mud Tires on, 44" Boggers.

I personally think it looks better on the boggers. I think pitbulls are bad a$$, but nothing beats the big nasty lugs of a bogger. Maybe groove them a little to have better lateral grip, but other than that, I saw stay with boggers

I don't like mud that much anymore but it sure is fun to hit the NOS and put 700hp to the ground! Good times.
Those boggers are pretty heavy and on a 16" wide rim, I think a little big for rock crawling.

Have you heard of heat treating and cyro freezing gears?

I do it alot with toyota gears but know a couple guys running the Jantz kit who broke their 70 R&P, If you break em think about doing it on your next set.

It works out really really well on a Toyota and the 2 guys who broke their 70 gearsets are still running their heat treated cryoed gears after 3 years or so.

Thing is they are running bigger tires than you and about the same HP so you should be fine with just the 70 stuff. But if you aren't there are more upgrades out there.

That is good to know!
I am installing the Load Bolts & Girdle to try to take out all the gear deflection to save the Ring & Pinion, do you know if your friends are running the Jana Load Bolts & the Jana Girdle with the Jana 76 kit?
The way I understand is the the Jana 76 kit with the Jana Load Bolts and the Jana Girdle install has not failed, is this incorrect??

Neither guy had those. One does now the other doesn't.

I remember about RCVs bragging about how they hadn't had a failure and I guess someone got to somebody about it and come to find out at least a couple of guys had broken really quick, just not on the interweb enough, and they had just bought new stuff cause they know they were super hard on stuff.

So take the has never broken with a grain of salt.

Remember both of the guys are running 49s with over 700 hp in do everything rigs.

I kind of think you will be fine with what you are going, its alot of fun to find the weak points. As long as you have the cash flow to fix em. Your rig just gets better and better.
