Building Blazer still

Yep, super curious about doing a couple panels like this. I have been wanting to do away with ALL factory wiring for some time now. It feels hard to work on and cumbersome. I would literally only keep my blinker setup :D

I got rid of my blinkers also.
I had 12 volt guy put the blinkers in the switch pannel and they will still blink.
I got rid of all the old wireing completely including the key ingnition so all is new and correct!

do you still use the safety lock in the steering column?
I left mine in there as one more theft prevention device...must have the key to turn the ign to run position to run the fans and to unlock the steering wheel.

Still have the wheel lock but that all the key does now

703 dyno vid or it didn't happen

I don't have any videos of it on the Dyno
Made 468hp to the tires on motor and 703hp to the tires with NOS,
I've ran the NOS one time at a mud bog and it gets it pretty dam good for a big rig.

Sorry bout this worthless post but I just drooled on my fuggin laptop reading about your dash. Jezzuuusss man!

Thanks man! Nothing worthless about your post at all! This has been a project for many years and I can honestly say the build is just about done now, Lol I hope!!

Do you have motor specs? I thought it would make more NA, 468 isn't anything to laugh at but it sounds like its limited by a nice smooth cam or something? Isnt this a 540? or 555?

468rwhp is pretty damn good.

Between the doubler and automatic I would guess he's loosing 30% of the power he's making at the Flywheel

Let's pretend that he's making 1hp/CI at 555 CI. SO 555X.30=166.5 555-166.5=388.5.

I'm guessing there's two things happening, he's making more than 1hp/CI and not quite loosing 30% through the drive-train.
