my 6 inch lift has given me some grief, but it is starting to work out. one thing that i have noticed is some moderate bumpsteer. i adjusted the draglink to get my steering wheel back straight and it helped quite a bit with my turning radius. Is this something that i am going to have to live with? I would like to get her riding nice and smooth again. my steering also feels loose. i know my balljoints need to be replaced but i don't have the coin to get them replaced yet. I was quoted 650$ to replace them. that sounds pretty damn expensive to me! are ball joints something i could replace myself? Also when i put on the brakes my truck moves to the left. is this caused by the lift? today i am getting the jet performance 6-pack chip. it willl be interesting to see how she reacts. peace

You might want to go to a dual steering dampner. Or if the single you have now is worn, replace it and see how it does. But I highly recommend getting the steering brace from ORD.
and the ball-joints, LOL!!! funny you should ask, Im in the middle of writting a Ball-joint tech article. It doesn't have any pictures but I'll be sending it to steve here in the next hour or 2. Maybe if he posts it, you can use it to help. No, its not hard to do, you just have to have the right tools and some patience. If he doesn't post it, I'll E-mail it to you.

Will work for beer, parts and tools.

Ya, I would get them ball joints changed and add a new steering stabilizer(single)... Plus check you tierods and drag link to make sure they are tight and have no play in them..
Also check you steering arm and make sure it is tight and make sure your springs are tight...
