For sure man!!!

You have no projects on the go right now??

It'd be a fine day for wheeling too. GOD I wish I had this thing finished....
no project on the go.. my truck is 88 percent done.. minus the steering arm, inner fender, inspection. it wont be done for a long time but to get it back on the road its only steering arm and i do not have that w me at this time. unless u count swapping the snowmobile engine as a project? and speaking of project im off to replace the rear brakes on my 03 silverado now..

Hey thanks buddy!

The lines aren't the smoothest thing in the world, but they look good from a 5 foot distance... and if you don't look for imperfections...

But yeah I am EXTREMELY happy with how it turned it out. Way better the I could've done with the Fiberglass, and steel strips.

Way better.

Plus I learned how to bend, and hammer the steel into place. Which is pretty darn fun if I do say so myself.

You get to beat the snot out of something, and then it turns out looking decent!

Okay, I am going to get the other fender up, and finish the other one up, so the outside will be pretty much finished...

Sorry no camera yet. I will try and get it tomorrow.

Okay, so I got the passenger side wheel well up.

I didn't have time to get the the other side finished yet because I have to go to a going away party for some freinds. But tomorrow is another day, and I may have time to start on the insde aswell.

And I got the camera back today too, so pictures are have been taken...

Thanks guys!

Alright, so I almost set my truck on fire yesterday because the wool blanket I use to sheild things with, was touching the other side of the piece of steel I was welding....

It wasn't a raging fire, but it was scary enough.

Okay, today I am going to do some more stuff, I just don't know what yet....:haha:

I have no camera due to my brothers wedding...

getting it back on sunday, or monday. But I am ALMOST finished the interior work...

It's all patch work really. You didn't miss anything. But I need this truck on the road for personal reasons...

Mostly because I don't want to freeze my unit off biking home in the winter...

Will post pics when I get the camera.

Sorry guys, I didn't have time to take any pictures..

I DID get the truck finished enough to take it to the mechanics to get it safetied, and E-tested though...

I'll take pictures when it returns. I took some short cuts though... Like not smoothing the bondo out, and only laying down a coat of primer. No color.

Lets hope it doesn't rain to bad....

Lookin good mang. I dig it. Not smoothing out the bondo makes it harder to sand later. Just use 40 grit to knock the crappy stuff off CAREFULY. lol I figured that out the hard way. Realy depends though on what your building it for. My crew cab isnt gunna be very pretty. No sence in trying for me:haha:
I dont want it to look like it was in a demolition derby, but the dings and rust dont hurt nothin.

That's awesome! I'm glad you got it done. Good timing. Rain this week and the temps are dropping!

Drive that thing over to my place!

Okay sooooo.....

My truck has a blown headgasket...

I found THAT one out five minutes before I got the sublurban onto the flat bed....

So there are two mods I have to perform to get that body mod to pass the safety.

1) install mudflaps. (Jay I know you sent me that link, but I have no way to get up to Scarborough... so I am going to go with a few rubber sheets)

2)Cut down the bumper so it matches the width of the "bed"

I should be getting the truck back in my driveway by thursday, so pictures definately by friday.

Oh and Bondo grinds away real nice with 40 or 50 grit on a grinder. It actually smooths out pretty nicely after hardening. That's how I have done all the bondo work pretty much, hahaha.

I actually have about a 1-2 feet of room behind the seats. I'll take a pic of that too. That truck looks really good with the back seats up, hahaha.:haha:
