How does this program figure out what symbol you are really thinking of. Try it a few times. I want to know how it does it. What is the catch.

no matter what number you pick, the end result will eihter be, 9, 18, 27, and so on, and the corresponding symbol to each of these numbers is the same. So say i pick 10. 10-1-0=9 or if i pick 35. 35-3-5=27. So on and so forth.

Its quite elementary, my dear watson. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif The symbols keep changing also, but it seems to only have a few numbers that you look at once you subtract the two numbers, but with a new symbol.. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

It doenst matter if the symbole changes, if you look closely, you will realize the symbol for 9 is the same for 18 and 27 and so on. The "magic box" displays whatever symbol is in 9 and 18 and 27, etc etc, becuase no matter waht number you pick, the end result will be one of these numbers therefore the same symbol in 9,18,27,36, etc etc... pretty ingenious i think!
