I'm trying to find a class V hitch for my truck, but can't. Anyone know of one?

Looks like the heaviest I can get is a class IV. It's effed up that they make them for lincoln navigators and such, but not for a one ton crew cab dually.

The highest load rated hitch for our truck that I have found is 10,000/12,000. It is made by drawtite. I have been looking for a while and that is all I can find. There are some 15000 models for 34" frames but you need 18 inches of continuous frame so the spring shackles are in the way. Drawtite number is a 41903.

Cool. Thanks for the info! I just looked at it. You're right, that bracket is definitely in the way. I wonder what newer trucks have in the way of spring hangers where they are out of the way.

The drawtite 41903 will mount directly with no mods. That will give you 10000 regular and 12000 weight distributing. If you have install a shackle flip, you will have to trim the shackle barcket just a little.

I just ran across this receiver. I've never heard of it before, but it's class V with 12,000/15,000 lbs on the capacity. I wonder if it's worth the coin.

It looks just like the drawtite that I have. I will try to get pictures of my hitch tomorrow if you want for comparison.

The drawtite 41903 has the same rating but cost is about 250 or so. I just looked it up and it is rated at 12000/15000. I was wrong early on the rating.
