Where can I find a new cv joint to buy asap. THe dealer said no, parts stores says its a dealer item, no local junk yards have any.

So what other options do I have???

For your drive shaft?

There should be at least one junk yard around that has a front shaft.
If not, buy one form High Angle or Tom Woods.

just trying to repair mine. It's not a high angle, previous owner welded the rear u joint bracket solid so it does not move.

Look at this picture form Tom Woods and see what parts you need.

1/2, 3/4, 1 ton k series trucks use the same joints for the front driveshaft. Just match up either the flat flange style or the yoke style cv and it should bolt in. Junkyard or driveline shop are your only local choices.
