I'll just use my own towbar, thanks anyway!
WHOA!!!! Wonder what the story is behind that....
On the plus side, HO 6.5 diesel, heavy duty trans, and 14b now available.
looks like it was a fun ride!
i used to run tow truck. that must have been fun not. most likly the driver was cut off and had to swerve . people dont respect the tow truck at all.
I know! I drove wrecker for years.
that sucks. On an offtopic, since we have so many tow truck drivers here, is the tow trucks insurance responsible for the towed vehicle, or is that the person being towed's responsibility. Also, what if your vehicle was stolen off a wrecker, or the wrecker was stolen w/ your vehicle on it. (yeh way out there, but just curious how that crap works)
Wrecker outfit just bought the whole thing. Insurance is gonna luve that driver!!!
the sad thing is i just bought a K5 and had to get it towed, sure am glad that didnt happen to me. even though the man would not shutup talking to me, he even asked me if i wanted to go get something to eat. wow i mgetting off topic, bottom line that sucks
My K-10 left me setting once when I couldn't figure why it wasn't getting a spark. It was the small wire under the advance plate. Anyway, I was towing my bass boat and he wanted to tow the truck with the boat still hooked up. No way, I went back and got it later. He still had me gritting my teeth he was driving so fast and taking corners like he didn't have a load. Hopefully never again. Used the tow bar three times over the last few years. Twice to get my wife's K-10 home!
or the guy driving didn't know what he or she was doing.
my cousin used to drive for us ABC SUPPLY INC.the whole truck and trailer was 75 foot. it bent at the middle and a tow truck pulled it to the shop we used.we have a pic of it ,how he made that turn off 96 onto grandriver?????that crazy bastard pulled it all the way there.
It looks like something Corey would do.......
Shoulda said yes. But I'm always hungry.
I don't think so. First off I would never drive a POS like that. That truck would not meet My requirements. It's to small and only has a single winch line.
I really don't see how the two vehicles came apart unless safty chains were not used. As far as the insurence question goes it would be coverd. I cost Us over $18,000 a year for insurance.
So what would be the problem with towing Your truck with a bass boat behind it. I tow 3/4 and 1 ton trucks with 5th wheels behind them all the time. Its not a big deal. As far as a tow bar goes, I wouldn't trust one of those things on a Radio Flyer.
It was a converted 1 ton Ford smaller than the one in the picture. He lived just down the road from me. Scary, just riding with him pulling my truck!
Maybe the driver took the name literally.
Wrecker - wreck-her
96 and Grand River sounds familiar. Wait, I think I know where that is......
Separate names with a comma.
