Can't see past 7 pages

I can only see back 7 pages of posts and if I try to use the pull down and ask for a further page (ie 8 or greater) it only takes me as far as 7. I know there is a lot more and I research stuff fairly often and would like to see more. I know that the search function is great but sometimes it doesn't always match exactly what I am looking for. It is this way for any forum I am on. Can a moderator/administrator comment on this, please.

I haven't paid for a membership and I can't see past 7 pages either... must be cuz I ain't a member

On the bottom left you have to tell it to show more than 1 week's worth of posts
