I think the name of the company I used was AAA Advantage Auto Transport or something like that. I moved two non-running vehicles from CA to MI with them about 6 years ago. Then I used them again last year to move the same vehicles to Kentucky (sadly still non-running 
) Ask for a discount for moving them into Michigan. There are a lot of people moving out of there (southern MI anyway) and a lot of empty trucks going in. Don't ask me how I know (again ).

I'm doing the samething from arizona to Indiana in about 2 months. It's been fun trying to find a shipper to ship a nonop. 77 blazer with a 115 wheel base and about 7 inch lift on 42's.

If I was to do it, I would use Hadley Auto Transport, but that is mainly because they are local, and I personally know the owner.

The guy that bought my 71 suburban last year used DAS. I didn't think it was too pricey. I want to say it was $1200 from Boise to Pittsburgh. I didn't think that was outrageous, but it might be more now with the gas prices.
