Anybody have any ideas on mounting a CD changer?
A CD changer will fit nicely right inside your console. Most of the newer ones can run at any angle. I'm going to install mine(if my wife ever lets me expand my system) on the passenger side wall inside my console, facing up. my stereo guy said he's done this lots with K5s.
that sounds very interesting...
if i do decide to go that way
thats where it's going...
under passanger seat...can be a pain sometimes to change cd's though
The console is a great idea. I have also toyed with the idea of making brackets and removing the glove box tray. I only use the glove box for insurance info, so all I need is the little pocket, teh rest can be removed. I will need to use some wire to prevent the lid from dropping 190 dgrees, but that will be easy. If you do this just make sure the cahnger is small enough to fit in the space, some older changers are too big to fit.
I'm thinking of putting mine under the center console facing forward. By making a box to lift the center conole up, I can mount the change where it is easy to change CD's and make it a little harder for it to get stolen!
