cd scratch / quick fix

    try using regular "toothpaste" not gell..
    use a little bit around the size of a asprin
    apply to scratch going ONE WAY fairly lightly
    then buff untill film is gone w/clean SOFT cloth
    T shirt works...
    making strokes in 1 direction
    almost like going with the grain of the wood...

    When I worked part time in a body shop, we actually used to wet sand them. Just like you would to remove scratches in clear coat with a buffing wheel and everything. Works great!

    Still another guy I know does his with a jewelry polisher.

    Pretty cool, and to think here we can buy CDs without jewel cases for about a buck at the music store. Refurbish and then voila!
