I have a CFM Technologie TBI "Adjustable" Pressure Regulator kit,
Upon opening the box and inspecting all of the parts

And while reading the Instructions
to familarize myself with the parts

I think I noticed a Tiny Spring Missing Later,
and Thought I would find It by Checking the Packing Material,
And Box it self,,
moving every thing, near Checking my Clothes
Crawling on floor,,Pile Carpet,My Shoe Treads laces
,Every where I went,,
empting the Vacumn Cleaner,See thru Canister,

to see If it Migrated there
Interogating the 5 year old helper Grandson!
No luck there either,,

The instruction manual has no picture,
but describes a Pyramid Shaped Spring
(not with the rest of the part's) As I look it over

In fact the spring I remember,,
would just fit on a dime to a nickel,,
and was Gold,,, and was Wound in a Round Spiral Tapering Up!
(Trianglier from side View,,

With not much in the tension department when Squeezed,,

Is there a Replacement Part #,Or alternate ideal
A picture would jog My memory and Place It resides,,
Thank You for any help!
Mike

There should not have been a spring included with the adjustable regulator kit. You are supposed to reuse the existing spring from the stock regulator. Here is a pic of what is included.

Scott / 4X4 High;
Thanks for the Info,
that may have cleared up the Mystery,,, or My Imagination runing wild!

In the same box
I also Purchased;
The PSI Gauge,
Fuel Inlet line pressure adapter,
Injector pod Spacer,
The TBI Spacer, And Salad Bowl,,

Or /and maybe it was something My helper found and brought to me from some where else,,Then removed???

As Scott said just reuse the stock spring it will work fine.
When you install the TB spacer you should check and/or readjust the TV cable.
Be careful not to loose the little nylon gaskets that seal the fuel lines at the TB
You will like the extra power those mods give you espically if you have good exhaust/headers.

No Mystery Spring Now

Thunder and Scott,
You have helped me greatly,,
and Thank You for the Tips

I can install the rest,,with "Confidence"
Thank you,
Mike

You're welcome.

I was going to buy an adjustable fuel pressure regulator but then decided against spending that kind of money on one since the factory GM units are adjustable BUT GM brazed them up after they were set. I simply was very careful and goofed around long enough to figure out how to make them adjustable again without spending a single penny buying one.
