Chalet Blazer camper on craigslist

Ya beat me to it. The fuzzy low res photos makes it hard to see - the seller started putting on a rattlecan multi-green color camo paint job on it. Serial #979, built 11/76, the seller sent me the original higher res photos.

**6/29/09 update, seller emailed to say he sold it for $75 to a local who has 'old Chevys'http://rochester.craigslist.org/rvs/1222112914.html **

Now for the next one, in the Lawrence (Ottawa) Kansas Craigslist, this is one that was spotted by a guy in another GM forum (link) - there's no details in the ad, but click on the photobucket link there. No reserve price auction on July 5th for all the vehicles the seller has. He says it has no engine or drivetrain, the Blazer is mostly there to just keep the camper off the ground, he'll get the serial # / build date for me tomorrow. Looks like it had a bit of a paintball encounter, too.

auctioneer said no motor or drivetrain? Guess that kills it for me, why i wanted to buy it lol. Im walts restro off of 67-72.

Drove by the chalet, looked at it on the way back, and man is it rough! def no drivetrain minus the d44 front and 12 bolt rear i believe. Didnt know where to looking for the plack since i didn't think i would knew where the auction was, but just was driving down the road looked to the left and saw it. Had two t/as with posis im going to go back and check the gear ratios on, so if needed i can get more info then. I went to a town east of ottawa (where the truck is) to get a spare borg warner 4 speed for my camaro, hence why i drove by it. Probably be some good parts, if someone from here is planning to buy it wanna sell the buckets? I wouldnt mind the lowbacks.

For you and anyone else who spots one of these, the serial number / build date plate is on the back by the door. Thanks for the efforts.:D
