Well the column went for crap in the blazer on the way home. Turn indicator stuck on, which piled up when I turned the wheel. I had no turn signals, and a horn that wanted to stick on.

The blazer is a 84, i have a column out of a 91 suburban. Figured it should work, tossed it in, hooked everything up like its supposed to. Everything works but the signals/ horn.

After being eaten alive by mosquitoes I decided to pack it in for the night.

Any help on where I should look would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Might want to confirm the pinout on the connector at the base of the column. I think there may have been some minor changes throughout the years...

The horn and signal lights both pass through that connector

I suspect this will show you your problem.
I'm heading to bed, so I just glanced at the two schematics, but it looks like the wire color might be the same but the pinout is different.

If so, then you can just match colors. But check first, I'm pretty sleepy and did not check each wire.

OK, these are .PDF files, and each one is bigger than the limit.
So, I have compressed them. I can only upload one per message, so here is the first.
Just download them and uncompress them and then look at them with a .PDF reader.
