I'm trying to change the rotors out on my 87 K5 with front automatic hubs. Im quite baffled by this process. I've removed the caliper, the hub assembly, and the nut but the hub still doesnt want to come off. I still spins freely, but I cant see what else is holding it on. Any help is greatly appreciated.

It sounds like you have only the outer nut off, there should be a washer and an inner nut (similar to the outer). Poke around with a pick and you'll find the washer, pull it out and go after the inner nut. :thumb:

Automatic hubs should have a washer with 4 ears on it used to engage hubs, remove it with a pick or needle nose pliers then remove second nut! Rotor should come right off!!
