Look here I'm serously consittering the 35 x 12.5R16.5 WILD COUNTRY RADIAL
What y'all think of these $61.50 tires ??
which of the 4 are you looking at
my experience with wild country tires was not good, they wore fast, they are not constructed heavy enough to support a 6500 LB truck, the tread does not clean very well. I dunno I know that I would never buy them again. it basicly comes down to you get what you pay for. I was in the tire shop every other day for two weeks last summer, at which time i finnaly broke down and bought SSR's.
3rd one over. Has more of a mud tread.
they dont look bad maybe you need to do some research find out what the load rating and treadwere is
I had Wild Country's once....ONCE is the key word here. You couldn't pay me to put those things on a truck again. More flats, more stucks than I have ever had... 3 seperations...and then they were bald in 12,000 miles.
You just can't polish a turd.

Yep, yep, yep. A buddy of mine worked at a tire shop locally, and got a set of those. He warrantied 2 of the tires for multiple flats before just throwing them away (in about 5 mos.) and buying some BFG's. Those tires are not inexpensive, they are cheap.
i need a spare i think i might get one.
thanks for the post
some of my freinds are starting to run the second one over from the left he says he likes them but there no ground hawg in the mud(he had hawgs b4) he also said they also hook up alot better on the road then a hawg BTW why does it say like-new? are they used
i think when i get my 35inch spare, it wouldnt be bad... considering only 10 shipping
a guy at work has them and he sais he loves them.he has the 33x10.5 15's on his jeep.he has about 5000 miles on them and almost no tread wear.they have a pretty good tread pattern also.i could never find them for that cheap though so i never bought them.ithink im getting them just to see how they run.for that cheap if they only last a year then im doing pretty good i think.lets me save up for something better while i run the cheapies.
yea i could use a new set of rubbers to..mine have some tread left but the front tire on drivers side has a leak thats pretty bad. either new tires or i better start carring a pumper with me!
You get what you pay for /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
I'll gladly lay $100 more a tire for something lasts and downright gets it awn.
My dad has a set of those for his '82 1 ton and he hates them. he only runs them in the summer cause they turn his truck into sled in snow.
if you look at the site, they are called take offs.so it means that someone has used them and had them "taken off" because they didnt like the way they rode.they get them from the manufacturer as a used tire but they are checked for defects before they leave the factory just like a new tire would.285 dollars is not bad for a set of 4 tires with shipping.
